In this workshop led by Laura Scoville, RYT and Ayurvedic Specialist, we will talk about the history of Ayurveda and why it's such an important part of a yoga practice; go over daily habits (dincharyas); Breakdown the doshas seasonally & daily (ayurvedic clock) and personally (Vata, Pitta, Kapha); Cover the 6 tastes and what foods are Sattva (pure), Rajas (stimulating) and Tamas (dull). Participants will also be completing an ayurvedic assessment to learn more about their dosha (or ayurvedic constitution). No yoga experience necessary. Cash donations will be accepted.
